As a child, Eirini Kaldeli wanted to become a detective, however, not everything went according to plan, and she found herself
with a computer science diploma from the NTUA in hand. She went on with an MSc in AI at the University of Edinburgh, and, right
afterward, with a PhD at the University of Groningen, where she investigated how Automated Planning techniques can be applied
in the field of Web Services. In 2014, she ended up in the Image, Video and Multimedia Systems Lab at the NTUA, where she delves
into the mysteries of digital cultural heritage and designs applications that seek to make the best out of it.
