Natasa Sofou

Natasa is  a senior research associate at NTUA. She has conducted state of the art scientific research and published in the area of image analysis with special focus on image segmentation using mathematical morphology and non- linear methodologies and  have served as a reviewer in International workshops, conferences and journals. She has participated in numerous ICT and e-content+ projects supported by the European Commission holding research and management positions. She is currently involved with “withculture” team contributing to the evolution of European digital cultural heritage and trying to engage new audiences with this effort.Her role involves coming up with ideas, testing new methods, providing technical and scientific coordination as well as management support to European funded projects.
